Stress-free Thanksgiving sides! 1 pan, 4 dishes!

I totally love this woman and her Facebook Dollar Tree life hacks. I especially love her shelf-stable healthy meal kits for the needy. That we cover here.

Stress-Free Thanksgiving: 4 Easy Sides on One Sheet Pan

If you want a simple, delicious Thanksgiving spread without spending all day in the kitchen, here are the four sides I’m making this year for my family (3 adults + 2 kids). They all fit perfectly in the Dollar Tree 3-pack foil tins and yes, they all bake together on ONE sheet pan at 350° for just 30 minutes.

Perfect for a small gathering, budget-friendly, and full of variety when served with stuffing, mashed potatoes, turkey, and gravy. 🍽️

🥄 1. Sweet Potato Casserole

I use canned yams because they are already peeled and fully cooked, which makes everything faster just open, drain, and mash!

2 cans drained yams

2 Tbsp melted butter

2 Tbsp brown sugar

1/4 cup milk

1 egg

1/4 tsp cinnamon

➡️ Mash until smooth, spread into a baking dish, and top with marshmallows + pecans.

🥕 2. Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots

I used fresh carrots cut into matchsticks, which keep a little texture after baking. If you prefer super soft carrots, you can swap in canned sliced carrots instead totally works and saves even more prep time.

4–6 carrots (or 2 cans sliced carrots), drained

2 Tbsp melted butter

2 Tbsp brown sugar

1/4 tsp each: salt, pepper, garlic powder

➡️ Toss together and place in a small baking dish.

🥫 3. Green Bean Casserole

Classic, simple, and perfect for baking alongside everything else.

2 cans french-style green beans, drained

1 can cream of mushroom

1/4 cup milk

1 cup fried onions (plus extra for topping)

Salt & pepper

➡️ Mix, spread into a dish, and reserve extra onions for the last 5 minutes.

🍏 4. Apple Crisp

Technically dessert… but honestly, who’s judging on Thanksgiving? 😄

1 can apple pie filling

Crumb Topping:

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup flour

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup melted butter

➡️ Spread the pie filling in the dish, mix the topping until crumbly, and sprinkle over top.

🔥 Bake Everything at the Same Time

Place all four dishes on a sheet pan.

Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.

Add the extra fried onions to the green bean casserole during the final 5 minutes so they get perfectly crispy.

These sides are quick, cozy, affordable, and super manageable especially if you’re cooking a smaller Thanksgiving meal and don’t want 10 dishes going at once. Hope this helps someone else planning a simple but delicious holiday spread!
